Inkling: halloween party part 1- mummy invitation

Let the Halloween fun begin! Candy corn, witches on broomsticks, trick or treaters and parties.

If you’re planning a Halloween party this year, you might like this mummy-inspired Halloween invitation I created.

I printed out the invitations leaving plenty of room between the lines of type. I used gauze from our first aid kit, tore off pieces and glued the edges to the card.
Once the glue dried, I trimmed the gauze edges.

The Halloween fun will continue tomorrow. Check back for matching mummy party projects.

  1. Funny! Just the other day I made out of gauze some wrapping ribbon. Have a look here if you like: http://hoergis-stempeldesign.blogspot.com/2010/10/eine-mullbinde-zur-geburt.html It's in German, but you can see what I did to mine.

Great idea! Thanks for sharing. Will be back tomorrow... ines

  8. Love it! How did you present the invites? Big envelope? Rolled?

  9. Thank you all so much for your comments. This was such a fun theme!
FYI - I created the invitations to fit in a #10 regular envelope.
    Thanks again.
