Etceteras: writing paper covered notebook

I found this striped fabric in my stash. I have loads of it. I think ages ago they were curtains. When I turned it sideways, it reminded me of writing paper.

I thought it would be fun to cover the outside of a spiral notebook to look like writing paper.

I cut the fabric to the size of my notebook and stitched a red line down the left margin. I mod podged the fabric onto the notebook and then fringed the edge.

Yesterday’s curtains – today’s notebook.

  5. You TOTALLY fooled me when I first saw this one! I thought, at first glance, that it was simply a notebook page. You come up with the most innovative and charming things!
