Accessories: button earring holder

I have a lot of earrings. It’s easy to keep the hoops together by looping them to each other but the dangling and stud earrings are always floating around in my jewelry box. Sometimes I can’t find a matching pair.

I fell in love with this idea that I saw in Real Simple magazine. Buttons as earring holders.

Here’s my version. I glued my buttons onto a piece of ribbon. I may keep some buttons loose but I thought this ribbon would be perfect for travel.

I chose a light weight organza ribbon so the earring would pierce through the fabric.

Vintage buttons with faux vintage chandelier earrings.

Sparkly costume jewelry.

Pretty semi precious and silver earrings.

Turquoise earrings with a mother of pearl button.

And once you’ve paired up all your earrings, roll up the ribbon and you’re ready to travel!  How about you? Do you have an earring organization solution?

Thanks so much for stopping by.
