The Inspiration Board: link party spotlight ~49~

Happy Friday and welcome to the Inspiration Board spotlight. A huge thank you from the bottom of my heart for those of you who came by and linked up a project. The board was brimming with creativity this week.

Here are a few projects in the spotlight this week.

rug 8
Wow – what an amazing transformation. Creatively Living stenciled a rug that she was going to get rid of because of wear and stains. Now the rug has a brand new look and it’s definitely a keeper.

Inspired by a Pottery Barn piece, That’s My Letter built and painted this adorable play table. It’s a knock off with a capital “K” down to the colored drawers and old library card catalog pulls.

book 117
A sweet handmade gift from Deepi’s World. The hand painting on the tote bag is so pretty but the black embroidery around the floral pattern makes it extra special.

Buzz's Kentucky Derby party 05-05-12 033
I’m fascinated with fascinators – those little hats that perch on the side of one’s head. OKI Stamp Queen made one for a recent Kentucky Derby party. Paper flowers, tulle and feathers – perfect for a day at the races.

P4300451
Such a clever idea. A paint chip matching game for little ones. Visit Sew Fantastic for the how to and adorable pictures of her daughter “matching” the colors.

vintage-necklace-pendants-complete
Sweet vintage graphic necklaces from How to Nest for Less. The graphics are her original work created in Photoshop and mounted in pendant frames. If you don’t have Photoshop there are plenty of free printables that would work for this project.

I love this placemat to purse project by Reposhture. The inside of the purse is lined with fabric and the handles go perfectly with the placemat/purse. A great repurpose project.

RosemaryBread
You can practically taste the bready goodness popping off the screen. Beautiful golden brown Rosemary bread by Little Green Bow.

dollar tree shelf liner cabinet back
Fox Hollow Cottage removed the glass doors from these kitchen cabinets and lined the backs with dollar store shelf liner. The cabinets were pretty to begin with but now the dish display is a stunning focal point.

What are you doing for Mother’s Day? Check out this great idea from Moore Minutes – a Mother’s Day brunch in a special spot. Cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit and lemonade packed to go and enjoyed at a yarn shop knitting/sitting area. Knitting, chatting, eating – perfect!
