The Inspiration Board: link party spotlight ~57~

Thank you to everyone who shared a project on the Inspiration Board this week. Summer recipes, crafts and projects continue to inspire us and I so enjoyed seeing all of your linked projects. If you dropped by to visit, I hope you enjoyed all of the shared inspiration. Here are a few projects in the spotlight this week.

Also, I hope you enjoyed the guest posts this past week. I’ll be back soon.

herringbone3Look what CW Frosting made out of dollar store car mats and sponges! A herringbone stenciled kitchen rug! What a great use of dollar store supplies – imagine the possibilities.

after crate pitcherThe Happier Homemaker took a thrift store crate complete with teddy bear shaped sides and transformed it into nice plain catch all. For the good of all things crafty, she did have to chop off the bears heads but we promise to not report her to the animal people.

8abOpen farmhouse shelves from the Parisian Bamboo. I love these open shelves – they are so versatile for knick knacks, seasonal décor, serving pieces and dishes.

Features 57-001
Berry yumminess. Top: Mixed Berry Frangipane Tartlets by Nifty Thrifty Things. Bottom: Pineapple Juice Fruit Popsicles by Homespun with Love.

washi tape ice cream wooden spoonsWashi Tape wooden spoons for an ice cream party by Meaningful Mama. Fun and oh-so-accurate phrases like; need it, love it, want it!

Gorgeous cupcakes by Lilikoi Joy. Strawberry cupcakes, buttercream frosting, little pearls and ripe heart-shaped strawberries. Beautifully presented and I bet they’re delicious.

005I love this photo holder by Setting for Four. A rock, some wire and a treasured photo are all you need to make this simple project.

DSCN3679I never get tired of owls and these little yarn owls are so darling. Scraponique crocheted one and knitted the other. Either way, they’re a cute pair.

travel pouch-016The cutest little iPhone travel pouch by Raegun Wear. Sweet birdcage fabric and the ric rac detail make this extra special.

spoolbookcase3Love, love, love this spool bookcase by Pink Stitches. A great recycle from an industrial cable spool. The material list calls for a “small spool” – goodness, I wonder what the large spool looks like.
