The Inspiration Board: link party spotlight ~78~

It’s Friday! The last Friday of the month and the last day of November. It’s “holiday go” time!  I’ve made some progress on my holiday lists but I still have a long way to go.

Here are some of the inspiring projects in the spotlight this week.



advent calendar 12345A fantastic advent calendar by Meeha Meeha. Little bark stars and wood hearts simply adhered to the wall. Fun little felt reindeer and pretty ribbon add a touch of color.




Gilded-Pears-ModPodge-@Cupcakes-and-Crinoline-4Pears are really popular right now and so is metallic. Cupcakes and Crinoline combined the two to make these stunning faux gilded pears. A beautiful centerpiece that makes a holiday statement.


Features 78-001Red or green. Green or red. I can’t decide. I need to try both. Candy Cane Cookie Truffles by Ode to Inspiration and Oreo Mint Cookie Balls by Southern Mom Cooks.

I love using nature in crafts and this Sharpie outlined leaf by Grow Creative is fascinating. The natural colors of the leaf our outlined in Sharpie to create an amazing pattern. I can’t wait to try this. I think older kids would enjoy this project too.


elderberry1-1It’s definitely cold and flu season. Even with obsessive hand washing and prevention, the bug can hit you. Vanessa’s Values shows us how to make an immune boosting syrup using Elderberries that are also loaded with vitamins.


sharkfrontThis little fish is hungry for some #2 pencils! A darling fish pencil bag by Nissa Made. A great idea for a homemade holiday gift or any occasion gift. Darling!


123Homespun with Love makes me fall in love with red again with a fresh and clean mantel look. I love all the new holiday colors -  pink, turquoise, gold and mint green but this classic red and white mantel really feels merry!


AshbeeDesignLaceTrees2Beautiful Silhouette lacy trees by Ashbee Design. This is one of the most intricate Silhouette projects I’ve seen. The paper was cut out and then stitched together to form the 3 dimensional trees. Amazing!


IMG_4628Lemon Lime and Thyme shares Christmas Chutney and Oatcakes served with yummy cheese.I’m always on the lookout for new recipes and homemade gift ideas. Sounds wonderful.
