The Inspiration Board: link party spotlight ~84~

Happy Friday and welcome to the Inspiration Board spotlight. Thank you so much for stopping by. If you shared a project on the Inspiration Board this week I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love looking through the links and visiting your sites. There were so many fantastic projects linked up – everyone must have recovered from the holidays. Plus, kids are back in school and we’re getting back to our normal routines.

I’ll be at the Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) winter show tomorrow. I’m demonstrating a craft in the Plaid booth from 11:00 – 1:00 and then I’ll be cruising the show floor looking for inspiration to share with all of you. I’m excited to see all the new products being introduced for 2013. So while I’m prepping for that {ok – deciding what to wear}, enjoy these projects in the spotlight.

FudgemainLook at all that fudge! Sugar Swings has outdone herself with the most amazing array of fudge I’ve ever seen. There’s lemon, fruit loop, red velvet, pumpkin spice and more. Fantastic!

IMG_0213An adorable penguin year marker for each member of the family from Small Things with Love. This is the little boy penguin. There’s a mommy, daddy and little girl too all hanging from a wooden sign for 2012. Head over for the free template.

036 edited[4]Setting for Four shared her 2012 project recap and it included this beautiful mug cozy. I love the seed stitch and vintage buttons. So pretty.

IMG_0455WThis seems like the perfect spot for a kitchen command center. Nestled between the kitchen counter and dining room Domestic Imperfection made a magnetic map board and hung fantastic wire baskets to keep everything organized.

Power study snack edI need to make some of this power snack shared by Will Cook for Smiles. I always hit that afternoon slump and this snack is filled with goodies to give you energy. Plus, the ingredients are loaded with vitamins, protein and other healthy benefits. Here’s to a healthier 2013!

Gloves_thumb[1]Inspired By created this pretty wreath from cedar branches, fuzzy mittens and winter greens. I love how the greens are nested in the mittens and the berries add the perfect touch of color. Such a cozy winter wreath.

Coffee-Lover-Cookies-2I love coffee and I love chocolate so these Coffee Lovers Cookies from Food Babbles are right up my alley. The best part is that the base of the recipe is a cake mix plus some added yummy ingredients. I can’t wait to make these.

2724990This silverware pot rack chandelier from Crystelle Boutique is so whimsical and fun. It took months to find the real silver silverware at thrift stores needed to complete the project but it was worth the effort.

DSC_0046Buhay at Bahay packed up all the holiday décor and quickly got to work rearranging and adding little touches for a cleaned-up winter look. Her living room is stunning. Are you drooling over that area rug like I am?

ikea hack 16Raise your hand if you have Ikea laminated furniture. I do, and I love this makeover by Lilikoi Joy. Her Ikea pieces were the old orangey beech veneer (so are mine) and she did a fantastic job giving them a new look with paint and taped stenciling.
