The Inspiration Board: link party spotlight ~90~

TGIF everyone and welcome to the Inspiration Board Spotlight. I want to thank everyone who came by this week to visit and if you shared a project on the Inspiration Board – thank you, thank you - for sharing your creativity here. I know there are a lot of link parties available and I’m thrilled to be your host.

As we transition to spring, I have some fun projects to share with you. I’m working on a a few wedding projects and some spring fashion ideas. While I get back to my craft table, enjoy the projects in the spotlight this week.

~~~~~
mini cherry pie tartsDelicious Mini Cherry Pie Tarts by Shaken Together. These perfect little bite size pieces eliminate useless items like forks and napkins.
IMG_4817Restyle Relove made a bold decision to paint this sideboard. The original piece was in perfect condition with dark polished wood. Not it’s even more perfect and will be used and loved.
oxidizing-metal-with-boiled-eggs-14Jewelry Making Journal shows us how to oxidize metal using eggs. Sometimes we want polished untarnished silver jewelry and sometimes an oxidized antique look. What a great tip.
Sew Can Do Snowsuit Side2Oh my – how cute is this snowsuit by Sew Can Do? And look at all that snow. Here in Southern California we don’t see snow like that but I would still love an adult sized version of this snow suit!
mini-coconut_lemon_nest_cupcakes 020Rook No. 17 has outdone herself. Absolutely adorable Mini Cupcakes with a toasted coconut nest and a robin’s egg.  But wait, the cuteness doesn’t stop there, one of the eggs has hatched.
Bird Pincushion Front ViewI love this sweet bird pincushion by Pieced Pastimes. The antique gravy boat is the perfect base for the cushion and little bird.
Hibiscus-Vanila-Bean-Pots-de-Creme-2-Food-BabblesA unique spin on vanilla pots de crème. Food Babbles added hibiscus tea leaves creating the pretty dusty rose color and hint of hibiscus flavor.
HutchMainText-e1360778166321Everyone is amazing me with their furniture transformations lately. Amanda Jane Brown took a wood Craigslist piece and completely change the look with the ever popular Annie Sloan paint.
chevron-pillow-old-jeans-1I can’t get over this pillow from Ashbee Design. First our love for chevron still marches on and this chevron pattern is so well done. The best part – the fabric is upcycled from old jeans.
andreaarch_nursery2This nursery by Andrea Arch is so tranquil. The grey striped walls are fantastic and the pops of yellow so bright and cheery.
