Dress Code: flip flop refashion

Flip Flops 6Three cheers for summer! Here in Southern California, people wear flip flops year round. Not me – my feet get cold in the winter but once the weather warms up, I break out the flip flops and don’t look back until the winter rolls around again.

Flip Flops 3I grabbed a new pair of flip flops the other day. You can never have too many pairs especially when they’re only a few dollars. I loved the stripes on these but they needed a little bling.

Flip Flops 9I found this pretty trim in my stash and this pretty sheet of rhinestones.

Flip Flops 5I glued the trim along the outer edge of the straps and the cut a single row of the rhinestones to use along the inner edge.

Flip Flop 10Another larger rhinestone finishes off the fun bling look.

Flip Flops 7Ah summer! It’s so good to see you again!

Flip Flops 4The beach, backyard barbeques and blinged out flip flops! What could be better.

Flip Flops 8I’m all packed and ready for a day at the beach! Who’s with me?

Thanks for visiting.

  13. YES! Love these. It's winter here in Sydney - but your post put a little sunshine in my day. Thanks :)
I love "flip flops" - but I can't wear them in winter - too cold. I can't wait for September. Enjoy your new pretty summer wear.
