Etceteras: shells, shells, shells

Are you as excited about summer as I am? And once the summer bug hits, do you break out the shells, coral and starfish? I live near the coast, so I’m not sure if the shell mania is as big a deal in other parts of the world. I do know that there is plenty of beachy, shell inspiration on blogs, Pinterest and online publications. And since I love all things beach and coastal related, I thought I’d do a little shell round up to share.

Shells_Faux Shells {diy}Shells can be expensive and if you want to incorporate shells into your décor you can always make some faux shells. The images above are some unbelievable examples of diy shell art and décor.

  6. I love shells, in the Summer I usually make a trip to the seaside and collect a few shells and pebbles and put them along my window for the rest of the Summer. Simply and seasonal.
