Have you ever decoupaged? Decoupaging has been around for a long time. It’s a fun, versatile craft that just got even better. Martha Stewart has introduced a new line of decoupage products that are amazing. Think fabric paper, lace and trims. The possibilities are endless! Want to decoupage a plate? The formulas are dishwasher safe. Decorating a tote bag? There’s an oil cloth formula that will make your tote bag super durable.

Martha Stewart Decoupage - Memo Board via homework (7)I received a sampling of the new Martha Stewart Decoupage line to try out including some beautiful lace trims that are part of the decoupage line. The lace seemed perfectly suited for a memo board.
Here’s how I made my memo board. 1. Cover the mat board that came with the frame in fabric. I used a scrap from a vintage tablecloth. 2. Layout your lace trim. 3. Apply the trim with Martha Stewart Decoupage {I used Fabric-to-Fabric Durable Matte Finish} and let dry. 4. I decided not to decoupage the diagonal piece of lace so that it could be used as a note holder.
