The Inspiration Board: creative party spotlight ~119~

Happy Friday everyone and welcome to The Inspiration Board Spotlight. This is the day that I get to show off your amazing talent. I’m so happy you popped by today. I know you’ll love these featured projects.

In case you didn’t get a chance to stop by this week, here is what I shared.

Now on to the projects in the spotlight this week:

DSC_0115A simple spray paint project by Finding Fabulous takes a plain vase from plain to terrific. Gold is big right now and this vase looks so striking on her table.

SAM_2992Lime and coconut sandwich cookies by Twigg Studios. Buttery Linzer Biscuit cookies with lime zest and coconut and filled with homemade lime curd. Wow!

IMG_0275Penny’s Treasures is showing off her new fall décor but her milk glass collection reflecting in those mirrors caught my eye. Beautiful!

handmade--chocolates-using-transfer-sheets I’ve been fascinated with chocolate transfer sheets lately and Hungry Happenings explains how to use them. Look how pretty they are on these homemade artisan chocolates.

9-6-13-pic-9Such a pretty homework station for a teenage girl by The Home Avengers. Chalkboard paint and gold glazing make it extra special.

Kickin-Spinach-Cheese-Bites-recipeThis is my kind of food. These little spinach cheese bites wouldn’t have a chance if they were placed in front of me. How to Nest for Less shares the recipe just in time for some football.

display1AArtsy Vava had her son make this wonderful picket fence piece for her general store. It’s perfect for displaying her items. With a little adapting this would also make a fantastic potting bench.

IMG_3871-2Our Mini Family drew inspiration from a favorite show and created this pretty side table. The color and shape are a replica of the little figurine on the top of the table. Fun!

Image 2One of the best things about the cooling weather is adding soup to the menu. It’s Always Ruetten shares a recipe for Caldo de Res Mexican Beef Soup. It looks amazing.

Features 119-001Both of these fun basket ideas were linked up and I loved both of them. Left: Church Street Designs jazzed up a basket to help eliminate mail clutter. Right: The Silly Pearl hung three baskets that she embellished to hold fabric scraps. Baskets always make great containers to minimize clutter.

100_9207What a great dresser redo by Simply Vintageous. White paint and graphic transfers gives this piece a whole new look.

  6. Carolyn, I have the same table as the painted blue one featured in this post. I have been planning to paint it, so now I am definitely going to get busy and just do it!
