FRESH LOOK: gold leaf {painted pressed ferns}

Gold Painted Pressed Ferns via homework | carolynshomework.comA few years ago I created some pressed fern art for my dining room. The ferns were a vibrant spring green and looked so fresh and clean.

Gold accents are really in style right now so I thought I’d try to salvage my pressed ferns by painting them gold.

This was a quick and easy update to freshen up the unsightly prints. When spring rolls around, I may want to press some new ferns and go back to the spring green color but for now, I love the gold look.

  2. Oh my gosh, you definitely have a steady hand! The ferns look beautiful in both green and gold, but what I love the most is the way you framed 3 within 1 frame.
