The Inspiration Board: creative party spotlight ~126~

Can you believe it? It’s November already. It’s definitely crunch time. Time to get serious about fall decorating, Thanksgiving menu planning and of course, the holidays. Even though it’s a busy time of year, there were still plenty of beautiful projects shared on The Inspiration Board this week. Thank you to everyone who came by, commented or shared a project. You all make my day.

If you didn’t get a chance to drop in, here’s what I shared this week here on homework.

Now on to the projects in the spotlight this week:

sleepy pumpkins 17Serene and sweet Sleepy Pumpkins from Meeha Meeha. These untraditional Halloween colors painted onto gourds are wonderful and can be used throughout the fall and even for the winter holidays.

IMG_0741I haven’t had a caramel apple in years and this Toffee Crunch Caramel Apple by Urbane Jane is making me crave that gooey goodness. Must.have.one.now!!

Chalkboard Spice Labels 1One of these days I’m going to clean out my spice cupboard and make everything organized and pretty. I love these spice jars and chalkboard labels by The Concrete Cottage. So clean and organized (unlike mine…).

itty bitty hat tutorial110These tiny baby hats and blankets by Don’t Mess with my Tutus and her girls are for a very heartbreaking and worthy cause – memory boxes for little angels.

Pumpkin-Spice-Garbanzo-Beans-recipePerfect for the season, Club Chica Circle shows us how to make Pumpkin Spice Roasted Garbanzo Beans. Sounds like a great crunchy snack and a must try.

Day-24-Fall-Vignette-Be-Creative-Natural-Fall-Wreath-OutdoorFallVignette-AnExtraordinaryDay.net_This beautiful grapevine wreath is so bursting with color that at first glance I didn’t think the leaves and berries were real. But nature is truly that beautiful. An Extraordinary Day strolled outside to gather maple leaves and privet berries and created this gorgeous fresh wreath.

DSC_0179Two It Yourself turned a thrifted dresser into a wonderful storage piece with pretty red paint and new hardware. With the bottom drawers gone, the open space is perfect for large baskets.

IMG_9752Halloween is over but this Creepy Spider Themed party by Vixen Made had so many fun details, I’m filing it away for next year. Check out the spider truffles, cookies, cotton candy and more.

How-To-Throw-A-Last-Minute-Party-DIY-Invitations-The-VisionThese Simpson handmade party invitations made me smile. I mean that Homer Simpson face is too funny! Black and White Obsession has a in depth tutorial on how she made these fun invitations.

Pumpkin-pie-nachos-at-shakentogetherlife.com_Sweet Pumpkin Pie Nachos by Shaken Together Life. At first you don’t think the flavors would work together until your discover that the chips are actually pie crust crisps. I’ve mentioned this before - I am a pie crust addict so these are my kind of nachos! Yum!
