The Inspiration Board: creative party spotlight ~127~

Welcome to the Inspiration Board Spotlight! There were so many beautiful projects linked up this week. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your projects here on homework. The fall themed ideas just make me want slow down, curl up in blanket and enjoy a book and some hot cider. But the reality is – it’s go time. It’s a mad dash through the holiday season and while I’ll enjoy decorating, baking, cooking and all the festivities, I doubt I’ll have time for that blanket and book scenario. How about you? Are you able to slow down the pace and have a few quiet moments? I hope so.

In case you didn’t have a chance to stop by this week, here’s a glimpse at what I shared.

Now on to the projects in the spotlight this week.

untitled-6484Reposhture shares a wonderful funky table that is beautifully styled with vintage goodies. There was a guessing game as to what the table started out as and I would have never guessed.

Hanukkah Plates [4]Do you love the gold trend? I do! These painted glass appetizer plates by The Answer is Chocolate are gorgeous. I love the addition of the blue mixed with the gold. So elegant.

DSC03675This is such a great project. I didn’t realize you could cut burlap so cleanly without frayed edges but Purple Hues and Me shows us how to cut and make these 3D Snowflakes.

Ginger-Apple-Pie21Three cheers for pie season! The Haas Machine shares a Ginger Apple Pie recipe that looks so buttery crusty good. In addition,  her apples are locally grown and handpicked. I bet this pie is amazing!

daydream medallion card 1Paper Seedlings shares a beautiful card with layers and layers of pretty medallions. The petty deeps red color would work for any occasion but it’s also perfect for a holiday card.

Features 127-001Are you sensing a trend? Two fantastic DIY Gold Sea Urchins were shared this week and of course, I can’t wait to make one for myself. Left: Decorating Cents Right: The Colored Door.

Chalk Paint and Pom Pom Trimmed Pumpkins - The Silly Pearl[4]These chalk painted pumpkins by The Silly Pearl are so bright and cheery. And nothing says happy like pompoms.

P1011654Butternut Squash seems to just sum up everything fall and there are so many things you can make with it. I love this idea by Music, Teaching and Parenting to simply make a flavorful and refreshing salad.

baskets-and-containerElisabeth Andree takes crochet to a new dimension. Crochet containers and baskets stiffened so they are usable containers. So pretty!

DSC_0829Beachwood Place shares her master bath makeover and it looks heavenly. The pretty chalkpaint storage shelf and vintage window are such nice touches.
