EXTRA CREDIT: The Battle with White Sports Uniforms

This post brought to you by Biz Stain & Odor Eliminator. All opinions are 100% mine.

1Whether you have big kids or little kids, pets or messy husbands, we’ve all had to deal with stains in one way or another. I’ve used Biz for years because I have all of the above. So when I got this pretty package I knew I’d have no trouble finding an example of a tough stain to talk about.

2My fun package included a bottle of stain fighting liquid Biz and a Biz laundry bag. The Biz laundry bag has been used in promotions for years. “Just put it in the Biz bag!” was the tagline. Now I officially have a Biz bag for my ongoing battle of the tough stain.

3Here’s what I deal with 2-3 times a week. My son plays volleyball. He’s been playing high school varsity volleyball and year-round club volleyball for four years. Why, why, why do they have to have a white jersey? I know that you don’t typically think of volleyball as a dirty sport. Football, baseball, and soccer are outdoor sports and you have to deal with ground in dirt and grass stains. However, with volleyball, they dive for the ball on the gym floor so they are basically mopping a filthy floor with their jerseys over and over again. Disgusting!

4The dirt gets ground in and they only have one jersey that I have to wash and get ready for the next game. Sometimes, I’m up late washing that darn thing so that it’s ready for the next day since we often leave for tournaments at 5:30 a.m.

Here’s how I deal with those ground in stains. I start by pre-treating the stains with Biz. Then I add my regular detergent and Biz to the washer where I pre-soak the jersey. Depending on how late it is, I like to pre-soak it for about a half hour. Then I hit the washer start button.

Blog Biz BleachAnd this is the result. A fresh jersey ready to wear for the next match. Seriously, I’ve been a Biz user for as long as I can remember. I prefer it over other brands because Biz contains more stain fighting ingredients- in fact more stainfighters than other brands.

  1. I must try BIZ. My son plays baseball (in white pants) and I'm forever trying to get red dirt stains out of his pants. I'm not real good about pre-treating and pre-soaking...that's probably why his pants are not really white anymore ;-) Anyway, thanks for the tip.
