CELEBRATIONS: True Grit | Sandpaper Father’s Day Tags

Sandpaper Father's Day Tags created by homework | carolynshomework.com Father’s Day is just around the corner and these super quick and easy sandpaper gift tags would be perfect for a handy dad.

Sandpaper Father's Day Tags created by homework | carolynshomework.com These couldn’t be easier to make and I love how they turned out.

Sandpaper Father's Day Tags created by homework | carolynshomework.com All you need is sandpaper, a circle punch, washers, a hole punch, glue and some leather cording or twine.

Sandpaper Father's Day Tags created by homework | carolynshomework.com Punch out your sandpaper circle using a circle punch. I have a 2” circle punch that cut the sandpaper easily.

Sandpaper Father's Day Tags created by homework | carolynshomework.com Punch a hole in your circle using a standard paper hole punch. Glue on a washer around the hole. Once the glue is dry, add some twine, string or leather cording.

Sandpaper Father's Day Tags created by homework | carolynshomework.com You can add a paper backing to finish off the tags or leave the original back showing. I chose to write directly on the back of the sandpaper.

Sandpaper Father's Day Tags created by homework | carolynshomework.com Keep the theme going by wrapping your box with strips of wood contact paper.

Sandpaper Father's Day Tags created by homework | carolynshomework.com I love all the different colors of the sandpaper and the manly leather cording.

Sandpaper Father's Day Tags created by homework | carolynshomework.com I’m sure my husband will wonder why there are 2” circles cut out of his sheets of sandpaper when he goes to use them next time.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
