ETCETERAS: Oatmeal Lavender Bath Soak

Oatmeal Lavender Bath Soak - Homemade Bath Salts Even though winter is milder here in Southern California than in a lot of places, it still takes a toll on my skin. Believe it or not, we do turn on the heater every now and then especially in the chilly evenings. With spring around the corner, it’s time to start thinking or dreaming about shorts, flip flops and tank tops.

Welcome to The Inspiration Board creative party everyone and thank you for stopping by. I’ve been hosting this party for almost 4 years now. Lately the number of links have dwindled but that’s okay -  for now, I’m still going to host solo and keep this party going. It’s one of my favorite things that I do on this blog. I love having the extra large thumbnails to show off your links and featuring loads of your projects on a dedicated post. I know that many of the large blogs have joined together to host mega parties but there’s also something to be said for a smaller, more intimate party. I hope you continue to stop by and share your projects here.

So let’s get this creative party started. Share your creativity by linking up below. I love pinning and sharing your projects. Remember, the features will now be on Monday.

EXTRA CREDIT: Tokens of Confection {Martha Stewart Living}

Mvalentines-day-06-rectangular-candy-boxes-0464-d111638-001The February issue of Martha Stewart Living is brimming with great inspiration. I love pretty packages and this story on turning ordinary chocolates into a special personalized gift with beautiful and unique packaging is right up my alley. Wood grain boxes are made by covering plain boxes with wood veneer and then stenciling them. A great way to package up treats without a heart or doily in sight.
