Welcome to The Inspiration Board Creative Party! I’m so happy you’re here and I can’t wait to see what you’ve been creating. I’m actually on a little staycation from my day job so I’m happily spending time between my craft table, relaxing and doing a little shopping. I have big plans to tackle my stack of magazines outside on the chaise lounge. I’m going to try to unplug a little and pretend I’m at a resort. Even if it’s for only an hour each day it will be priceless.
I’ll let you know if I’m successful. In the meantime, let’s make this the best party ever.
Well, here we are in the last week of June. Has everyone adjusted to summer vacation? We’ve got moms with little ones, moms with kids returning home from college and everything in between. Summer is great but it’s definitely an adjustment from the regular structured routine. My empty nest won’t be empty in September since my college son decided to move back home. He’ll be attending a local college, so you won’t see any amazing posts about converting his room into a craft room just yet.
I big thank you to everyone who stopped by last week. Sending you all virtual hugs! In case you missed anything, here’s a little recap of what I’ve been sharing.
There’s nothing like a little beach décor or coastal crafting to really celebrate summer. Whether you live near the seaside or not, it’s fun to bring a little coastal charm into your home. Coastal Crafts (Lark, May 2015) by Cynthia Shaffer has over 20 projects that use seashells, ropes, sea glass and other nautical materials. Perfect for some summer fun.
If you’re planning a Fourth of July gathering, these Patriotic Brownie Cups are super easy, perfectly themed and absolutely yummy. I made these on a whim as a practice and okay, let’s be honest, I had to taste test them. Want to make some? Here’s how:
Welcome everyone and happy Tuesday! I’m so thrilled that you choose to share your projects here on The Inspiration Board. Are you ready to show off your latest and greatest? I can’t wait to see what you’ve been up to.
Welcome to a new week friends. Did you have a good weekend? We celebrated Father’s Day for my Dad and husband and my Mom’s birthday. There was loads of yummy food and dessert and it’s the best excuse to indulge in extra helpings. In case you missed anything recently, here’s a little review of what I’ve been sharing.
Before I left on my trip recently, I was really worried about my little vegetable container garden. I try to take really good care of these little guys and I was going to be leaving them at a crucial time. Tomatoes were really taking off and loads of strawberries were blooming. My son volunteered to take care of the garden for me but was confused about when to water each plant so I whipped up some plant care labels to make the job easier for him.
through June – oh my! I’m waiting for the pace to slow down but it just doesn’t
seem to be happening. Maybe when I retire someday, I’ll look back and remember
how time used to fly by so quickly. Anyway, before I blink and another week has
come and gone, let’s get this creative party going.
The Inspiration Board creative party! I’m so happy you’re here and ready to
share your talent and party together! Remember, the features are now on Monday.
Ready? Let’s see what you’ve been up to.
Hello everyone! I’m back from my week of business travel. It was a whirlwind week of meetings, lunches, dinners and more meetings. And even though the business trip was for my other full-time job, the time away was invigorating, exhausting and yet a refreshing break from my normal routine. And now, I’m eager to get back to sharing some fun projects with all of you.
In case you missed anything here at homework, here’s what I’ve shared lately.
Hello, hello everyone and happy Friday! I’ve been away this week on business travel. Have you missed me? You probably didn’t even know I was away. Since I can preschedule posts, I got busy and decided not to call on guest posters.
I’ll be back today. Fingers crossed I don’t arrive home to a complete disaster and mess at home. I left hubs and the teenager to fend for themselves. Anyway, while I was preparing for my trip I was focused on traveling tips and gathered up these goodies to share with you. Not your typical, packing hacks but little things that can help one de-stress, boost your energy, and make travel a little more comfortable. So while I get settled, enjoy these great ideas for your next trip.
I’m having so much fun experimenting with beets. A few weeks ago I made some
Beet Salsa and last week I shared a Beet Green Sauté. Today, I’m sharing Natural
Beet Dye and the best part is, all three projects came from one bunch of beets.
Guess what? I’m out of town but I wouldn’t dream of not having our weekly
party. So welcome to The Inspiration Board! It’s my favorite day where we share
creative ideas and inspire each other. I can’t wait to see what you’ve been up
to. Remember, the features are now on Monday and I love sharing loads of
features. So are you ready? Let’s go…
Greetings everyone. I’m so happy you stopped by to check out the beautiful projects featured from The Inspiration Board. As always, the link ups were amazing. I’m so thankful to all of you who take the time to share here every week. Before we get to the features, here’s a little recap of what I’ve been sharing here on homework.
It's Friday everyone. Yippee! I hope you have something absolutely wonderful planned for the weekend. I'm leaving this weekend, traveling for work, so while I finish scrambling and packing, enjoy these pretty ideas perfect for June. And even though I'm away next week, I've prescheduled posts so we won't miss a beat here on homework.
My beet obsession continues. If you follow along, you may recall, I posted a round up of beet inspiration and then made some yummy and healthy Beet & Apple Salsa. But did you know that originally it was the beet greens that were eaten not the beet root – makes sense I think.
Happy June everyone! Welcome to The Inspiration Board creative party! I’m so happy you’re here and ready to share your talent and party together! I’ve been hosting this party for years and I still get look forward to checking out all of the wonderful links. Plus, I love pinning and sharing your projects. Remember, the features are now on Monday so you have almost a whole week to link up more projects.
Here we are in June. Can you believe it? It’s the season of graduations, weddings, barbeques and of course my favorite, beachy crafts and coastal décor. I love this time of year. As always, thank you, thank you, for stopping by and sharing last week. I’m trying my darndest to keep my link party going and I’m so grateful to those of you who faithfully link here and for all newcomers. Yay!
In case you didn’t have a chance to stop by lately, here’s what I’ve been sharing.
