SHOW & TELL: 4th Annual Handmade Holiday Link Up | Gift Guide

There's something special about a handmade gift. Whether you made it yourself or purchased it, handmade is unique and thoughtful. I love supporting handmade products and I used to have an Etsy Shop but gave it up to focus on this blog and my day job.

Every year I host a Handmade Holiday Link Up. It's a chance for shop owners and artisans to share their wares. From the links, I create a Handmade Holiday Gift Guide to help boost your sales for the holidays.

CELEBRATIONS: Holiday Home Tour–Dining Room

Holiday Hutch 2The holiday décor has finally started to make an appearance at my house. This year I went with the on-trend look of plaid and red for a couple of reasons. I love the look and I have loads of red knick-knacks that I could use to complete the look. My dining room hutch is usually the first piece to be decorated for every season. I love switching out the plates and server ware but almost always have a foundation of white dishes. I added the pretty black scrollwork plate at the top and a buffalo plaid scarf and the rest came together easily.

UPCYCLING: K-Cup Holiday Gnomes

Recycled K Cup Holiday Gnomes
For my birthday this past summer I got a Keurig Coffee Machine and I have to say, it’s my new bestie. I love how easy it is to make a cup of coffee whenever I want one without wasting a whole pot of coffee. How spoiled are we that we can press a button and voila – a fresh cup of coffee. There is a little bit of guilt with each cup when I throw away that little plastic K-Cup. Uggh. I was determined to come up with an idea to recycle some of the K-Cups. The light bulb went off one day because I’ve also been wanting to make some gnomes for the holiday season.
