INSPIRATION: Stress Buster and Healthy Living Ideas

Stress Buster & Healthy Living Ideas

Hello friends. Last week my day job kept me super busy – busier than usual.. If you didn’t know, I work full time as Senior Marketing Manager. I blog in the mornings, evenings and weekends. It was hard to unwind each night and by the end of the week, I was exhausted. Typically, I create my projects in the evenings, shoot and edit photos on Saturday and write and schedule all my posts on Sunday. Last week I got a little more behind every day and with Easter prep I had no time to catch up, create or shoot photos.

Lean Cuisine Honestly Good and healthy eating tips via homework | carolynshomework.comSeveral years ago I came to the realization that I had to change the way I eat. I could no longer diet for a week and then go back to normal eating because I would just be on a constant seesaw of gaining and losing those few extra pounds. I tried cutting back a little at each meal. Smaller portions for breakfast, lunch & dinner. It sounded like a good plan except that I found out I have no portion control.

Chicken Pita & Greek Yogurt Sauce via homework (1)Back to school time means quick and easy meal choices. Breakfast needs to be readily available for those frenzied mornings. Lunches need to be preplanned or even premade and ready to pack up. Dinners require menu planning and organized grocery shopping. I pretty much have those three meals under control during the school year. But I tend to fall short on after school and after sports snacks. But this year, I’m vowing to do better.
