Hello friends! I’m out of town, traveling for business (my day job) so today I’ve gathered up some fall décor inspiration for you. All of these projects are from my archives. I love fall, don’t you? I have some fun new projects to share with you when I return. Once I get back, get unpacked and settled, I’ll be back on track with some crafty goodies. In the meantime, enjoy these fall ideas – they are some of my favorites.

WEEKEND INSPIRATION: Back-to-School Dorm Room Ideas

If you have a college-age kid heading back to school, you may want to use some of these great ideas I’ve rounded up. A lot of the inspiration photos of dorm rooms floating around are not realistic. Dorm rooms are tiny. I have dozens of friends who’s kids left for college last year when my son did. We compared note and photos, texting back and forth. My son lucked out and his school offered dorm rooms that had a little more breathing room than most. He had his own large closet and he and his roommate shared a bathroom with the two guys in the next room. Even still, squeezing everything into a small space is a challenge. If you have a boy, these ideas will still work – just change up the color scheme.

Weekend Inspiration: Trending | Copper

TGIF everyone! We made it through another week – decorating, crafting, baking, cooking, sewing and more. What are you up to this weekend? I’ll be doing more spring cleaning and organizing. Plus, I’m getting ready for some business travel in June for my day job and I think a shopping trip for some new clothes might be in the schedule. Between all that, I’m thinking about how I can collect some copper items to add to my décor.
Have you noticed the copper trend lately? I used to have some great cupper mugs and I’m hoping I stored them in the attic. The problem is there are so many boxes up there, it would take me all day to find them. I love the warmth that copper pieces adds to a table, mantel or hutch so it might be worth a trip up to the dusty attic. In the meantime, enjoy these lovely copper examples.

WEEKEND INSPIRATION: Kitchen Style–What’s yours?
From one day to the next, I think I could redecorate my kitchen with any of these styles and be happy. At least for a while and then I’d redecorate again. What about you? Do you have a set style or do you like to try different looks?

CELEBRATIONS: A Touch of Fall from my Home

These are just some snippets of fall from some of my projects or the styling for some of my projects. I love fall and when I went through my photos recently, I put together some of my favorite. Not everyday has to include a complicated craft or diy project to keep me inspired. Sometimes it’s something as simple as some peppercorns or moss.

CELEBRATIONS: Great Halloween Ideas from Dollar Store Items

I love the Dollar Store. Any dollar store; the 99 cent store, 99 cent plus, the dollar store, dollar tree or any good clearance aisle. These stores are especially great during the holidays. And Halloween brings out the best in dollar decorating. Because who wants to spend a lot of money on Halloween décor. I mean it’s fun but it’s not going to stay up for very long. I’ve rounded up some of the very best dollar store Halloween ideas. These bloggers have really raised the bar with their spooky fun.

Etceteras: A Little Eucalyptus

Every season I change up the décor on my kitchen hutch. I usually introduce a seasonal element or color depending on my mood. Sadly, this summer is getting away from me. Any grand plans for a fresh look with shells, starfish or other summer décor is slowly slipping away.

CELEBRATIONS: bridal shower decor on a budget
This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Cottonelle, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #CottonelleTarget http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO.
Bridal season is around the corner but if you’re planning a wedding or planning a bridal shower now is the time to start thinking about the details. Believe me, I’ve done my share of planning and hosting bridal showers. They seem to come in waves and can be expensive to host. Here’s a creative bridal shower décor idea that’s also friendly on the budget.
