It’s been raining in my neck of the woods a lot lately. At first it seems refreshing but after awhile I get tired of seeing rain drops on the window. Here’s my solution.
I made a rain drop sun catcher. If it’s raining, I get to look at colorful cheery rain drops. If it’s sunny, the rain drops become a sun catcher.
Here’s how I made this sun catcher.
Materials:
- A sheet of plastic (the kind that comes on a new toy box or box of stationery)
- Tissue paper
- Mod Podge
- Scissors
- String
- Cover your plastic in Mod Podge and add various colors of tissue paper.
- Let completely dry.
- Once dry, Mod Podge over the tissue paper. Let dry.
- Cut out the rain drop shapes.
- Add a string or thread to each rain drop and hang from your window.
Rain or shine, I’m ready.
