Happy Friday everyone and a big thank you to everyone who came by and shared a project on the Inspiration Board this week. As always, there was an amazing variety of inspiring projects – home décor, recipes, fall crafts and of course, Halloween projects. Here’s a sampling of some of the projects in the spotlight this week.
A safety pin and bead bracelet by Redfly Creations. Such a pretty combination blue and crystal beads on this unique and genius way to make a bracelet.
A pretty hutch makeover by One Thrifty Chick. I’ve been wanting to do this to my pine hutch for the longest time now. I’m inspired! And the pop of colorful dishes just makes this all the cheery.
I love the title of this post and recipe by Akawest. Thighs be Damned Coconut Cake. Ha – I think that’s my daily motto. However, this cake looks so delicious and innocent with the light and fluffy coconut frosting, I’m sure it’s harmless.
Coffee filters are such a great crafting supply and these mums by Social Salutations are so pretty. I love the simplicity of the plain stem and the airy feeling of the flower.
Home Sweet Homemade shows us what’s on her pinboard and these stamped and stitched cards are so inspiring. Little pieces of upcycled cardboard that she stamped and then embroidered. Beautiful!
Penny’s Treasures took her Halloween décor into the bedroom. So many details in her décor theme called “Til Death do us part" and "Spooky little thing called Love" like a vintage wedding gown curtain and spooky gauze curtain.
The black crows have landed again. This time on a table at Buhay at Bahay. A simple gathering of a table runner, grape wood and of course those crows make a big impact.
Oh my goodness. How cute are these gingerbread mummy cookies by Being Inspired? Those sweet little gingerbread men have turned into mummies. Everything get’s creepy at Halloween!
Fantastic pumpkin project by Our House of Joyful Noise. A Dripping Paint Pumpkin that spells out Boo! The traditional orange pumpkin with the dripping black paint is so striking.
It’s a busy time of year for pumpkins and this one was in need of a little beauty rest and pampering. I laughed and laughed when I saw this “no carve” pumpkin by Alexis of Jacolyn Murphy {actually her daughter created this wonderful pumpkin}. I’m sure this pumpkin will be all rested and ready to go by Halloween.

That Halloween inspired room decor is quite something, I can easily imagine Morticia Addams living there!
