We love ice cream year round but it’s especially good in these hot summer months. I usually keep the freezer stocked with some type of tasty frozen treat. It’s such a quick and easy way to satisfy that sweet craving. I recently got to sample six types of ice cream products. I know… it was rough.
Did you grow up on Good Humor® ice cream bars or ice cream man? These are classic American ice cream bars. Strawberry Shortcake Cake was one of their classics. It’s a cake coated vanilla light ice cream with a strawberry-flavored center. Mmmmm.
What would you do for a Klondike® bar? The original… vanilla ice cream and a simple but delicious coating of chocolate. Pure, simple and so good.

My son immediately dibbed these Magnum Ice Cream ® bars as his. These are the Double Chocolate bars. They are a decadent creamy chocolate ice cream in a luscious chocolatey coating, rich chocolatey sauce and thick Belgian milk chocolate. Oh yeah….
I barely got in the door with the ice cream and he was digging in and thoroughly enjoying “his” MANGNUM® bars.
Another staple in our house is vanilla ice cream. It goes with everything: cake, pie, brownies or cookies. You can make milk shakes, floats or add sauce or sprinkles. This Breyers® Homemade Vanilla is rich and creamy with a homemade feel.

ReplyDeleteAs much as I fondly remember those Good Humor bars from my childhood, I'd have to go with the Breyers as my fave to try first. However, I've never turned away ice cream. Never. LOL And your pictures made each dessert look sooooooooo good!
