Little crafts: MARTHA STEWART CRAFTS FOR KIDS & A GIVEAWAY

Martha Stewart Crafts for Kids via homework (4)Get your little crafters ready for some fun, fun, fun because Martha Stewart has done it again.

craftsforkids (2)Martha Stewart’s Favorite Crafts for Kids was just released in June and the timing couldn’t be better for some summer crafting with kids.

Martha Stewart Crafts for Kids via homework (12)There are 175 craft projects featured in the book that children can wear, decorate, play with and more.

Martha Stewart Crafts for Kids via homework (1)Turn a child’s drawing or sketch into a stuffed animal. The best part about this project is they are meant to be fun and silly - not a perfect animal replica. Each stuffed animal will be one of a kind.

Martha Stewart Crafts for Kids via homework (13)These pipe cleaner animals are easy to make by following the step-by-step illustrated instructions provided.

Martha Stewart Crafts for Kids via homework (2)Grab a package of popsicle sticks to create a small town. Add some toy animals and cars for hours of play time.

Martha Stewart Crafts for Kids via homework (3)Science meets creativity with projects that experiment and explore.

Martha Stewart Crafts for Kids via homework (5)Collections, travel keepsakes and memory holders appeal to all ages. I loved this travel keepsake in a can and had to make one of my own. The only problem was, I hadn’t gone a fun trip in a while.

Martha Stewart Crafts for Kids via homework (6)No problem – I created a mini nature diorama instead of a travel keepsake.

Martha Stewart Crafts for Kids via homework (7)Start with a flat can or use a box. Spread out some natural elements like twigs, moss and leaves on your craft table. Add some scrap book embellishments and other goodies. A little glue and imagination and little crafters will be creating all kinds of fun nature scenes.

Martha Stewart Crafts for Kids via homework (8)I love the mixture of three dimensional and flat objects, natural elements and faux elements. It all comes together for a fun hodge podge of creativity.

  4. I mentor a little boy during the school year and he's realized that he loves crafts! But finding inexpensive, interesting, age-appropriate projects that can be completed in 30 minutes isn't easy! I need inspiration!
