While I was taking a little blog break, the good folks over at MINTED invited me to pick out a few pieces of artwork from their amazing selection. I think I could have scrolled through the prints for days. Good thing you can sort by theme and color.

I was invited to a Snowflake Party. Now, I know for most you that won’t sound strange but many people will be wondering what the heck a Snowflake Party is. For instance, when I told my family that dinner would be a bit delayed because I was finishing my project for a Snowflake Party – they gave me that blank look that I often get…   A Snowflake Party is basically a group of bloggers and a hostess all creating a themed project. Fun!

FRIDAY: High Five

Happy Friday everyone. If you’re here in the United States, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, filled with family and feasting. I’m blessed to have my family here in Los Angeles where we can spend holidays together. We all make two or three dishes and still follow tradition and gather at my parent’s house. How lucky am I?

So on this day after Thanksgiving, let’s give thanks for a wonderful week and maybe do a little shopping. Here’s what I’m high fiving about this week.

It’s always a little challenging packing for a week of work especially when you can’t wrap your head around the fact that it’s going to be cold. Happy short week friends. Here in the U.S. we’re celebrating Thanksgiving on Thursday so that means we need to take Wednesday off to prepare the food and Friday off to recover from all that eating. Three cheers for turkey, stuffing, gravy, pie and all the trimmings. I can hardly wait. Of course, right after Thanksgiving things are about to get real.
