Happy Friday everyone. If you have kids, have they gone back to school yet? Are you happy or sad? I’m always mixed about back-to-school time. It’s nice to be back on a set schedule but on the other hand, the schedule starts to get jam-packed with homework, sports, school events and more. I wouldn’t mind a few more lazy beach days…
A special thank you to all of you that linked up a project this week on the Inspiration Board this week. As always, all the projects were inspiring and wonderful. Here are a few in the spotlight this week.
Meaningful Mama whipped up a batch of fast and tasty crepes. What a great breakfast alternative to pancakes. Add fresh berries and a drizzle of chocolate for an extra special treat.

Would you be brave enough to paint a piano?
Doodles and Stitches did and the result is so pretty. Pianos tend to get handed down from generation to generation – why not enjoy it both musically and visually.

I have a thing for granny square blankets and this summer garden granny by
Priscillas is so pretty. I love the fresh colors that make the timeless granny squares look oh-so current.
Class Casual Home shows us her stunning living room. It’s casual, comfortable, beautiful and picture perfect. I’m in love with this room!

We just ended a heat wave and this watermelon lime agua fresca would have been perfect to get us through those hot days. The perfect cool and refreshing hot-weather drink by
Mrs. Happy Homemaker.

A pretty Modern Botanical Print by
Posed Perfection. A lot of fun possibilities with this technique – a white pen on glass with a colorful matte. Very pretty!

These are making me very hungry. Chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter. Don’t they look yum?
The Pinterest Project creates a Pinterest-inspired project daily and these cupcakes are a winner.
Pandora’s Craft Box created a fun and whimsical chandelier out of birdcages. What a great way to display a collection of unused birdcages. Add tea lights or even a bird or two…

I had a Mad Hatter Tea party in the spotlight last week and this is a completely different one. A little girl’s Alice in Wonderland Mad Hatter Tea Party by
Sweet Boutique. The entry to the party is a magical door and once beyond the door is the Wonderland party. Click over to see all the amazing party details.

The homegrown tomato season is coming to an end and many of us are desperately trying to use up our harvest. Perfect timing by
Potholes and Pantyhose to share her sundried tomato recipe.
