With the weather heating up, it’s time to start thinking about casual gatherings. I picked up some new dishes recently and I can’t wait to use them for my next barbeque.

WEEKEND INSPIRATION: Kitchen Style–What’s yours?
From one day to the next, I think I could redecorate my kitchen with any of these styles and be happy. At least for a while and then I’d redecorate again. What about you? Do you have a set style or do you like to try different looks?

The Inspiration Board: Spotlight 202 & Tea Party Inspiration
Hello, hello friends. Welcome to another week at homework. I hope you had a great weekend filled with fun, relaxation and a little creativity. My weekend was filled with spring cleaning and purging. My son is nearing the end of his first year at college and he’s been slowly bringing things home from his dorm. So things are a bit chaotic around here.
Did you get a chance to stop by last week? I hope so but if not, here’s what I shared.

WEEKEND INSPIRATION: Fantastic Dollar Store Projects
I love shopping at the Dollar Store. Nothing makes me happier than finding something for a dollar and then transforming it into a useful or decorative piece. These are some of the best dollar store ideas I’ve come across. I can’t wait to make some of these projects.

BLOOM: Free Printable Floral Borders
I took these photos a few years ago and ’ve been searching for them for the longest time. My photo files on my external hard drive are sort of like that messy desk drawer file drawer – there’s a system but a few things end up misfiled. But I found them and they’re perfect for spring, Mother’s Day, graduations or anything.

CELEBRATIONS: Spring Hoop Wreath with Dollar Store Flowers
My spring pink décor continues. As I mentioned when I first shared my spring hutch, I used pink as an accent color this year. A first for me. To bring a little more pink to the room, I created this spring hoop wreath.

The Inspiration Board: Spotlight 201 & Grilled Cheese & Pizza
Woooosh. That’s how fast the weekend flew by. I got a few things done but not nearly as much as I wanted to accomplish. I did work on a pretty spring wreath that I’ll be sharing soon and some other fun things. I hope you had a great weekend. WEEKEND INSPIRATION: Spring Refresh
TGIF friends! We made it through another week sharing creativity. I’m hoping to get caught up this weekend and create some new projects to share with you, clean my house and put away the laundry that’s been sitting in baskets since last weekend (no lie!). And if I have time, I would love to work on refreshing with some of these amazing spring projects I found.

GOOD TASTE: Naked Cake Fail & Spring Cupcakes
I’m sure you’ve seen all of those beautiful “naked” cakes that are being pinned lately. They’re all the rage and so pretty overflowing with layers of frosting, berries and flowers. I decided to try to make one and although I wouldn’t categorize it as a complete fail it definitely falls short of the inspiration images I’ve been eyeing.

INSPIRATION: Stress Buster and Healthy Living Ideas
Hello friends. Last week my day job kept me super busy – busier than usual.. If you didn’t know, I work full time as Senior Marketing Manager. I blog in the mornings, evenings and weekends. It was hard to unwind each night and by the end of the week, I was exhausted. Typically, I create my projects in the evenings, shoot and edit photos on Saturday and write and schedule all my posts on Sunday. Last week I got a little more behind every day and with Easter prep I had no time to catch up, create or shoot photos.

INKLING: Printable Dear Easter Bunny Cards
Here’s a cute last minute printable for you. If you have little ones and you’re planning on leaving carrots for the Easter bunny, print out this Dear Easter Bunny card that I created. I miss the days when my son would leave the Easter Bunny a card and some carrots. Every year after he went to bed, I’d take bites out of the carrots as “proof” the bunny had actually stopped by.
