Happy 5^th Anniversary to The Inspiration Board! Five years of hosting this party every Tuesday and I love it as much as I did when I first started it. I had 52 link ups at the very first party and I was thrilled. The party has grown over the years and I’m very happy with the size of the party. It’s not a mega party with multiple hostesses but a more intimate gathering. Thank you for supporting The Inspiration Board all of these years.

Did you have a great weekend? I hope so. My weekend was spent catching up on all things house and life. It feels good to have the house cleaned up, laundry done and the pile of mail taken care of. Welcome back friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I got back in town from a week of business travel and spent the weekend catching up on all things house. When you leave the husband and teen son home alone you never know what you’ll come home to. We also celebrated a belated Mother’s Day with my mom so between unpacking and laundry, I needed to get to the grocery store, restock the kitchen and make her a special dessert.

And, of course one of my favorite things to do each weekend is to grab a cup of coffee and soak in the projects shared on The Inspiration Board so I can choose the features. So let’s get to the projects featured in the Spotlight this week.

Welcome to The Inspiration Board Creative Party everyone. I’m traveling for business and currently zipping around and in back to back meetings. That means my husband and son are fending for themselves at home all week. It’s good for them to discover things like the washing machine, dishwasher and vacuum. I’m pretty sure they think these things just magically happen when I’m around. A little dose of reality is good for them and makes them appreciate me.

I’ll be back soon and can’t wait to see what you share on The Inspiration Board. Plus, I may have some fun survival stories to share. Like the time my husband couldn't find the sugar to refill the jar so he used powdered sugar in his coffee. Yup, they are always so happy when I get back from these business trips.

Did you have a good weekend? If you’re a mom or celebrating a mom, I hope you had a wonderful day filled with love. I’m actually out of town on business and had to travel yesterday. We plan on celebrating Mother’s Day next weekend when I’m back in town. So I spent Mother’s Day away from my family in a hotel room. I made up for it by having a nice room service dinner. Anyway, enough about that – let’s move on to the features from The Inspiration Board Creative Party.
