The DIY French Herb Pot I made years ago is still one of my favorite projects and was inspired by a pots I saw in another blogger's garden. I’m prepping for another business trip, so between blogging, family activities, and house chores, I was planning my business travel packing list this weekend. I’ll be sharing some of my packing tips and business travel outfits soon. As always, I’m a little behind on my seasonal décor but I finally added some summer to my dining room. I love switching up the knick knacks and dishes on this hutch and this time I went with a green glass coastal look. I was surprised at how much green glass I had in my cupboards that I was able to use.

Welcome back everyone and happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend filled with fun, creativity, and of course, relaxation. We installed a doggy door for our little Sammy this weekend. She getting older and needing to go out more frequently and those middle of the night trips outside are getting old. It’s reminiscent of the baby feedings and since I’ve been there, done that,  we’re hoping the doggy door will solve the problem. I like to call it the door of freedom.

It’s officially summer and here in Southern California that means shorts and flip flops. Okay, we wear shorts and flip flops nearly year round but at a certain age, the shorts season starts getting shorter. Maybe as we age we get a little more cold blooded but I find myself only wearing shorts when it’s super hot.
