Fall is definitely in the air or at least on The Inspiration Board. I’m loving all the beautiful fall inspiration and still enjoying the end of summer projects as well. It’s that transition time between seasons. Personally, I’m excited for fall but still trying to hang on to the summer weather for as long as possible. I’ve been so inspired by all the bee and butterfly baths I’ve seen on Pinterest I decided to make one for my garden. These are so simple to put together and you may already have everything you need on hand.

THE INSPIRATION BOARD: Spotlight 272 & Feeling Fall

Summer is winding down and a lot of kids have headed back to school. Can you hear the collective sighs of relief from all the frazzled parents? My son starts back at the end of this month. It will be nice to have him back on a schedule but I’m gearing up for that frenzied pace. I also noticed this week that the evenings are cooler and there’s a crispness in the air in the morning. Yes, fall is around the corner and before you know it, the holiday season will be upon us. 

HOME ROOM: Master Bedroom Makeover Final Reveal

Our master bedroom makeover is finally done. Group hug and high fives! It’s taken me months and months to complete this project because I have so few weekends to work on it. Between working full time, business travel, family and everything else, I had to wait until I took time off work to finish the final details.

In the past 13 months, I’ve traveled for business seven times. Each trip is a week long and I’ve documented a few of the trips in my Dress Code posts. I’ve mentioned this before but I’m a Senior Marketing Manager by day and blogger in the evenings and weekends. I’m lucky enough to work from home for my marketing job so I usually only dress up for work when I travel to the corporate office in Washington state.

Welcome back friends. I hope you had wonderful weekend. I had a little beach time to relax and soak in some sun but the rest of the weekend was go, go, go! Speaking of which, this Pokemon GO craze is all over the place. I’m featuring some fun Pokemon GO ideas this week along with the rest of the amazing projects featured from The Inspiration Board.

Etceteras: Chippy Pedestal Tray

I’m loving my new coastal weathered pedestal tray. I started out creating this with the plan to make a sign. But I really don’t need another sign. Then it was going to be an jewelry holder. I couldn’t decide what to do with it so  I set it aside. Because I’m completely out of room, I placed the flat tray temporarily on top of another pedestal dish that I have in my craft room and inspiration struck. It would be perfect as a pedestal tray.

I’m back. Did you miss me? I was away last week on business travel. I always chuckle when I travel for business because I sleep in a bed that’s way better than my lumpy old mattress, someone comes and cleans the room everyday, I eat in super nice restaurants, and get spoiled by a car service. But there’s no place like home even if it includes a sink of dirty dishes, an overflowing laundry basket, sticky floors, and the list could go on and on.
