HOME ROOM: Master Bedroom Makeover Final Reveal

It’s taken me months and months to complete this project because I have so few weekends to work on it. Between working full time, business travel, family and everything else, I had to wait until I took time off work to finish the final details.

Master Bedroom Makeover It’s slowly getting there. I’ve made more progress on our Master Bedroom Makeover and what a difference it’s made. Our master bedroom was the most neglected, ugliest room in our house. We just kept putting it off and never replaced the old, original cheap furniture.

HOMEROOM: Master Bedroom Makeover (Part 2)

Bedroom Makeover Part 2 (8)I’ve made more progress on our master bedroom makeover and I’m so thrilled with the results so far. I previously shared the first dresser makeover here where I showed how I used textured paintable paper to turn orange wood Ikea dressers into light and bright white dressers. The next step was to replace the valance with fresh curtains, paint the remaining two dressers, figure out a solution for the headboard and freshen the rest of the room.

HOMEROOM: Master Bedroom Makeover (Part 1 Dresser)

Dresser Makeover 7I am finally going to makeover our master bedroom. This is the saddest room in the house. Original inexpensive furniture from when we first got married, mismatched d├ęcor, old blinds and curtains and the list goes on and on. It’s going to be a slow process since I only have weekends to work on the projects. This will be the first of several posts and I’m starting with one of the dressers.
