Bye bye March and hello April. I’ve loved seeing all the Easter projects that have been shared here on The Inspiration Board. We still have lots of the spring season left so I can’t wait to see what everyone is up to. Now that Easter will be over soon, I’m thinking about spring cleaning, gardening and room freshening. How about you? What’s on your project list?

Hello, hello friends. I can’t believe we are in the last few days of March and Easter is this weekend. I love this time of year. There’s no shortage of wonderful projects being shared and inspiration is all around. A huge thank you to all of you who stopped by last week, left comments and of course, shared projects on The Inspiration Board. In case you missed anything, here’s what I shared last week.
Happy Friday everyone. High fives and fist bumps – we crafted and created our way through another week. Are you excited for the weekend? I know I am. Today I’m sharing some wonderful Easter Egg inspiration from Martha Stewart Living that you can make this weekend.
I’ve mentioned this before but I don’t have a mantel so I decorate this hutch in my dining room every season. This year I went with a color I’ve never used before – pink.
Here we go everyone. Another week – another wonderful day of sharing. I can’t wait to see what you’ve been up to. So let’s get this creative party started. Share your creativity by linking up below. I love pinning and sharing your projects. Remember, the features will now be on Monday.
It’s officially spring friends! I know some of you that live in the colder areas are even more excited than I am. But I think I can honestly say that we all love this season. Spring brings renewed life and gets our creative juices flowing. We can open our windows and get outside to tackle outdoor projects and more. Can you tell I’m excited?
As always, I want to thank all of you that stopped by, commented, emailed and shared projects here last week. Since I started working full time again, I haven’t had as much time for blog socializing and I appreciate your continued support. I hope you are still enjoying my projects and the creative inspiration shared here at homework. Speaking of, here’s what I shared last week.
If you make handmade items or have a handmade shop, I have a fun printable for you today. I created this cute “cross stitch” Handmade By cards. They can be used as tags for homemade or handmade gifts or in your packages from your shop. Aren’t they fun?
Compound butter seems to be very popular right now. I’ve been seeing gorgeous blends in magazines and online. Compound butter is a mixture of butter and, well, anything you choose. Common blends are herbs, chives, honey and the version I made, brown sugar & cinnamon.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone. Are you wearing green or are you getting pinched? I have on some green – just in case. I haven’t spotted any Leprechauns around but I’m sure they’re out and about. So what have you been creating? The weather is warming up so I’m sure everyone has been busy springifying their homes and gardens. Plus there’s that whole spring cleaning thing that I need to get on board with. I can’t wait to see what you share today.

Hello friends! I hope you’re off to a good week so far. Last week turned a little sideways for me because I got hit with some nasty end of season bug and went down for a few days. Just when the weather was turning nice and I thought I had escaped the cold and flu season unscathed. I’m better now and ready to tackle a new week. I huge thank you to everyone who visited last week and shared projects on The Inspiration Board. I’m always so inspired by your creativity and can’t wait to show off the features below.
In case you didn’t have a chance to drop by last week, here’s what I shared here on homework.
For some reason, I’ve had mushrooms on my mind lately. I recently posted an Asian Vegetable Stir Fry that included Shitake Mushrooms and a Light Fixture to Mushroom Night Light Upcycle. Then without realizing I was getting a little mushroom obsessed, I gathered these mushroom ideas for the Weekend Inspiration. But aren’t these mushroom ideas amazing – I mean how can you not hop on the mushroom train.
I’ve been hanging on to this ceiling fan light fixture for the longest time. It was going to be turned into a planter but one day I accidentally turned it over and set it on top of a jar and a mushroom was born.

Happy Monday friends. For most of us in the U.S. we moved to daylight savings time yesterday. I think it’s one of the silliest things ever. But never the less, it was time to spring forward and so we did. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Thank you so much for stopping by and visiting last week. And a huge thank you to all of you who shared on The Inspiration Board creative party.
Can I just say… TGIF! What a week! How about you? Are you ready for the weekend? I thought these beautiful pink projects were just the medicine I needed to kick off the weekend.
Have you tried any of the trendy marbling techniques? Last year, I made a few things using the nail polish and water marbling technique and loved the results.
Have you ever made popsicle stick bracelets? It’s an old-school craft that’s been around for a long time. For this project, I’m using craft sticks. They’re narrower and a little longer than a popsicle stick. You can get them at most craft stores.

Happy March everyone. I hope where ever you are it’s starting to thaw out and there are signs of spring. My son is home from college on spring break this week. So in my mind, it’s officially spring. I can tell a lot of you are thinking sprint too because The Inspiration Board was filled with wonderful projects this week. Thank you to everyone who shared their creativity here. If you didn’t get a chance to stop by, here’s a recap of what I shared last week.
