The Inspiration Board: link party spotlight ~82~ & a new year roundup
Thank you to everyone who stopped by this week and shared a project on the Inspiration Board. It was a smaller, more intimate gathering this week but as always, all the projects were wonderful.
As we head into the New Year, I want to thank you all for your visits, comments, links and friendship. Some days I can’t believe how many of you stop by to visit my little corner of the creative world here at homework. I’m looking forward to another year of creative sharing with all of you.
A stunning holiday treat box by Sandy’s Space. Chocolate truffles are nestled inside the beautiful box made out of folded and cut paper with a self locking top. Pretty pins add a festive touch. Sandy always creates the most beautiful paper projects.

Homework Dress Code: holiday style with No nonsense
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of No nonsense for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
I have to confess, although I used to be really stylish and into clothes my everyday-work-from-home style has become boring. One of my New Year’s resolutions is to make an effort to break free from my typical yoga pants and t-shirt uniform.

Sew and Tell: vintage chenille no-sew stockings
I love vintage linens. In fact, a long time ago – in a galaxy far away, I used to make and sell pillows using vintage fabrics.

The Inspiration Board: link party spotlight ~81~
Welcome to the Inspiration Board spotlight. If you linked a project here this week, I want to thank you so much for sharing your creativity and inspiring me. With so many link parties available, I’m so happy to be on your link party list.
Well, it’s Friday and we have one weekend before Christmas. It’s time to kick it in high gear and finish baking the treats, wrapping the gifts and making final preparations for a holiday feast. At least, that’s what I’ll be doing this weekend.
While I’m running around in a frenzy of tissue paper, ribbon, measuring cups and last minute glue gunning - grab a mug of hot chocolate and check out the projects in the spotlight this week. There are a few Christmas projects included but for the most part, I tried to pick things that would work for New Years and beyond. Enjoy the inspiration!
Thanks to Imprintalish, I’ve added another item to my list this weekend. These homemade peppermint patties look too good to pass up. I need to make these, oh and then eat them.

Celebrations: a glittery new year countdown
Have I mentioned my glitter obsession this holiday season? Maybe once or twice or ten times. I’ve been sticking glitter to a lot of things but this by far has been the most fun.

Little Crafts: kiwi crate holiday fun
I’ve mentioned before that my son is now a teenager – so when Kiwi Crate asked me to review their holiday craft crate geared for kids age 3-7, I had no choice but to borrow some little crafters. My friend Katy also has a teenage son but she has lots of nieces and nephews who were happy to help out. How cute are these happy crafters?

Good Taste: holiday favorites with philadelphia cream cheese
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of PHILADELPHIA cream cheese for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
I have to confess, one of my favorite things about the holidays is all the yummy food. Don’t get me wrong, I am very into the true meaning of the holidays but a ridiculous amount of delicious food is prepared, shared, given and eaten during the holiday season. And I enjoy every bite!

Au Naturale: frosty apples
Here’s another item leftover from my fall décor. These beautiful Golden Delicious apples were part of my Thanksgiving tablescape. Of course, at the time, the were unadorned and hanging out with white pumpkins and acorns.

Fresh Look: Color+Plus with Lamps Plus
I’m thinking about changing the color scheme in my living room. For years, my living room has been beige and white with touches of blue and gold. I need to possibly break out of my neutral phase and get bold.
