Here are a few New Year’s Eve ideas that you could put together in no time. I blinged out a few serving pieces and glasses that will make my New Year’s extra sparkly.
Everything I used to jazz up my table I had on hand. I just went through my supplies and pulled out everything sparkly.
This plain white plate holder gets dressed up with some silver bead garland leftover from Christmas. I used a few glue dots to secure the beading. Once the party is over, the beads and dots can be easily removed.
Scrapbook embellishments aren’t just for scrapbooks. Giant jewels and a glittery “2013” work perfectly to anchor the beads to the top of the holder.
These self stick rhinestones are perfect for stemmed glasses. Just stick them on to give your glasses a fancy look.
I got a little bolder with this glass and added rhinestones around the bottom of the glass. Note: I wouldn’t do this to my good crystal glasses. These glasses are more “everyday” stemmed glasses and I’m planning to remove everything after New Years.
This pitcher looks much more festive with organza ribbon, a giant jewel and a glittery New Year embellishment.
I just worked on a few pieces but you could add embellishments to your serving platters, cake stand, tidbit trays and more.
One more piece - I couldn’t resist making some New Year crowns. You can buy these glittery crowns at party stores and just add some extra sparkle to them.
It doesn’t take much to turn your plain tableware into fun party pieces. Ribbon, costume jewelry, glittery craft supplies – whatever you happen to have can be added to create a festive table.
Wishing you all the best for a happy new year celebration!
See you next year and thanks so much for stopping by.
