Fresh Look: Color+Plus with Lamps Plus

I’m thinking about changing the color scheme in my living room. For years, my living room has been beige and white with touches of blue and gold. I need to possibly break out of my neutral phase and get bold.





I have a beige couch and on each end are white sideboard cabinets that serve as end tables. You can see in the photo above that I get nice natural light coming in through our living room window. But once the sun sets, the lighting from our existing lamps and overhead lights isn’t really sufficient. Plus, I’ve had these lamps for as long as I can remember.



Lamps Plus new Color+Plus lighting design line will make it super easy for me to introduce a new color to my living room. Aren't all the colors amazing! With over 60 different base colors to choose from and mix and match shades I can’t go wrong. Here are a few I came up with that could start my living room color-splash transformation.

I created some lamps using mix and match system on the Lamps Plus site and placed them alongside my current sidetable. I like the light blue and chevron shade. It would fit right in with my current color scheme and look super current.

The bright sunny yellow lamp would be such a room brightener. And it would be fun to work around this color and freshen up knick knacks and pillows.



This one is definitely my top pick. I love the plain shade and fresh turquoise color. I think it would look fabulous and give the room a brand new look. It’s amazing what one piece can do to a room and the inspiration it provides to freshen up an existing, tired look.
