Welcome back everyone. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I spent all day Saturday at my son’s volleyball tournament. It’s fun but exhausting. You get up at the crack of dawn, drive far, cheer all day, and then drive home and collapse. That left Sunday for all things household. Boy, did this weekend fly by. I hope you had some time to relax and enjoy your weekend.

The Inspiration Board: Spotlight 240 & Must Have Organization

Welcome back everyone. So happy to see you here on a Monday. I just got back into town from a week of business travel and spent the weekend putting my house back together. Leaving my husband and son alone for these business trips is risky business. Here are a few of the things I came home to… powdered sugar in the sugar jar we use for coffee (apparently my husband couldn’t find the regular sugar), a load of wash in the washer that could possibly have been there for days, a message about a missed dentist appointment and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Needless to say, I was greeted with “Thank God you’re home!” – ahhh, it’s good to be appreciated and missed.

So now let’s move on to the features and a little recap of what I’ve been sharing.

Happy Friday everyone! What are you high-fiving about this week? I’m actually still out of town on business. I’m heading back this afternoon so chances are if you’re reading this later in the day, I’m on a plane heading home. Hooray for home sweet home. Wishing you a wonderful weekend – with the holidays behind us it’s nice to get back into a normal routine with a little relaxation time on the weekend. And now for my Friday High Five.


I made these brownie bites for the holidays and they were so delicious. I use Ghiradelli brownie mix (I think it’s the best), vanilla frosting and Hershey’s white chocolate peppermint candy. I prefer the soft white chocolate peppermint over the crushed hard candy canes on my brownies.
