Valentine’s Day is around the corner and if you’re looking for an extra special but easy treat bag idea, this one fits the bill. These no-sew felt bags are easy to make with supplies you may have on hand.
I used some grey felt I had picked up at the dollar store and glued the side seams. The fabric glue I had didn’t stick so I used some stronger all purpose craft glue and that did the trick.
A red vintage button from button jar looks sweet and simple with the grey felt.
I just cut a slit in the felt and glued the button to the inside of the treat bag. Easy!
The cameo is a scrapbook embellishment and looks feminine and sweet against the pink felt heart.
The only bag that required a bit of sewing was the blanket stitched bag. It stitched up very quickly but it is an extra step if you’re making a lot of bags.
Once you’re done with bags, fill them with some sweet treats. These little candies are sugar-free fruit drops – a nice alternative to chocolates and sugary sweets.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
