FRIDAY: High Five

Shells
High Five friends – it’s Friday! We crafted, sewed, cooked, baked, decorated and created through another week. I hope you had a great week and I’m wishing you a wonderful weekend. As with every Friday High Five post, I wanted to share a few things that I’m high-fiving about lately.

Last week was my birthday and I was off from my day job so I took a walk along the beach and picked up some bits of broken shells. I love storing shells in jars and labeling them with the date. It’s a fun way to remember a special day or occasion.

NeuLash
Another thing I’m high-fiving about? I’m saying goodbye to my wimpy aging eyelashes. Seriously, you hit a certain age and one day you look in the mirror and wonder what happened to your eyelashes. Mine were literally half gone. I now have them all back and then some with this great product called NeuLash. Trust me, this stuff really works.

Sunflower
I’ve mentioned before that I feed the backyard squirrels. I buy wild black sunflower seeds and it looks like my squirrel friends dropped a few seeds into my compost bin. These pretty wild sunflowers have sprouted.

SushiI had this for lunch on my birthday and it’s my new favorite. Crunchy Spicy Crab Roll. Yum.

Beach

Facebook coverAs summer winds down, I’m high fiving all the nice beach days we’ve had. I snapped these pictures on a few different days recently and I hope to squeeze in a few more beach days before fall is in full swing.

What are you high-fiving about? I’d love to hear. Enjoy the weekend everyone.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
