I’ve saving up these little candy tins so that I could upcycle them into something. I wasn’t sure how I was going to use them but little tins always come in handy.

Since I’m getting ready for another business trip I thought they’d make perfect travel tins. With the luggage weight restrictions everything has to be scaled down and I don’t take any full-size toiletries.

Aren’t they cute? Perfect little travel size containers made with fun jet set travel scrap book paper and Mod Podge.

To make these clean out your tins and spray paint them. I used white spray paint. Let dry and cut out shapes and messages from your scrap book paper.Once you have your pieces ready, adhere them with Mod Podge and let dry. Finish with another coat of Mod Podge over the paper to seal them.

My favorite tin is the small size one which is perfect for my ear buds. No more tangled mess in my purse.

The largest round tin will protect my new bangle bracelets from getting crushed in my jewelry bag. I’ve had some unfortunate damage to things not packed properly in the past. I mean seriously, how is it possible that something can break when it’s packed between layers of clothing? They must really throw those suitcases around.

I’m really this time and instead of using little baggies the tins are perfect for items that I only need a few of, like Tums for the travel tummy. Band-aids for blistered feet and Q-Tips.

I always look forward to these business travel weeks. It’s fun to have a change of scenery and work from the Corporate Office as opposed to my home office. It’s exhausting and jam packed with meetings but on the other hand, I don’t have to think about dishes, laundry and cooking for an entire week. A nice trade-off.

However, at the end of the travel week, I’m always happy to be heading home.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
