I have such an easy project for you today but I loved how these turned out. Use upcycled or recycled containers and add a marble knob.
I’ve been on a cleaning, cleaning, cleaning binge lately. As I was going through boxes of craft supplies and saved recyclables, I realized I had several of these make jars. They’re the containers that my loose powder comes in. I use MAC powder and love these little containers so I save them for storing little bits and pieces.
I’ve also been cleaning out toys.I mean, my son is now in college and I keep coming across forgotten toys in closets and boxes. These marbles are too pretty to get rid of so I combined the two.
Or course, if you want to stack these little containers you could just use them as-is with no knob. But I think the little marble know makes them fun and interesting.
Marbles are really fascinating. As I was looking through the bag of marbles, it was hard to choose which ones to use. Each one is slightly different. I’d love to learn how they’re made.
In the meantime, I have some fun new storage containers for beads, sequins and other odds and ends. Now off to finish cleaning!
Thanks so much for stopping by.
