The Inspiration Board: link party spotlight ~64~

Happy Friday friends. It’s that time again. Time for the Inspiration Board Spotlight.

A big thank you to all of you that linked up a project on the Inspiration Board this week. There was a wonderful mixture of end-of-summer, back-to-school and glimpses of fall. I was thoroughly inspired by all of your projects. Here are a few in the spotlight this week.

bookstack17Beautiful book transformation by Design Stash. Regular thrift store books are turned into a pretty décor item by removing the covers and adding pretty embellishments.

Toddler Number Matching Board 6Just too cute for words! Max and Me created a number matching board – count the dots and match up the numbers. Adorable photo that captured the joy of learning.

Pie-in-a-JarSo pretty to look at and so yummy to eat! Cherished Bliss shows us how to make Pink Lemonade Pie in a jar.

LullabyLyricPillow10Do your children have a favorite lullaby? Love Grows Wild handwrote the lyrics to her kids’ favorite lullaby on pillows. Her boys love them and so do I.

Turquoise Hall Table 1Such a pretty table by Knot all that I Seam. From regular brown to trendy turquoise – I love the pretty décor items that add the perfect finishing touch.

lunch bag 1Yup, it’s that time – back-to-school time! What better way to start the year than with a brand new handmade lunch bag. TV Designs made this darling bag for her daughter and chose cute utensil fabric and pink gingham for the inside lining and tie.

DIY-OreosHomemade Oreo cookies by Happy in Red. The chocolate cookie looks incredibly rich and I love the personalized touch of pink filling.

fireworks072Wow! An incredible toilet paper tube craft by Creating Domestic Bliss. Question: How many toilet paper tubes does it take to create a flower that large? Answer: A lot!

chickenfriedsteak3Oh-my-goodness! This is a plate of pure southern happiness. Don’t even think about the calories – just focus on the menu brought to you by Mrs. Happy Homemaker. Chicken fried steak, great granny’s mashed taters (both smothered in country white gravy), mama’s buttermilk biscuits and assorted sides. Yum!

Apparently the crabapples are almost ready to be picked and made into crabapple jelly. I’ll have to add this to my list of “must try” items.
