Even though fresh peaches are a summer fruit there’s something about peach pies, peach cobbler and baked peaches that seem like fall.
Baked peaches are about as easy as it gets for a beautiful and tasty dessert. Add a mint leaf as a garnish and serve on a pretty plate and voila – an elegant dessert.
I was going to make a recipe card but these are so simple, I’ll just quickly tell you how to make them. Cut ripe peaches in half and remove the pit.
Place the halved peaches in a baking dish and add about a tablespoon of butter to each peach half. Sprinkle generously with sugar and then dust with cinnamon. I included a piece of a vanilla beach to each peach.
I do have to admit, I regret not adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream for these pictures. Doesn’t that sound heavenly?
Hopefully, there are still peaches available where you live. If not, Pin this recipe for the next peach season.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
