I love making snow globes. The funny thing is I’ve never actually made one with snow or water.
Faux snow globes are fun to make and a great use of small jars. With several small jars you could make a set of place cards for next dinner party or brunch.
To make a faux snow globe, you’ll need:
- Small jars
- Oasis or floral styrofoam
- Moss
- Small silk flowers
- Paper
- Tacky glue
- Glue a small piece of oasis to the inside of your jar top.
- Add a little moss on top of the oasis and glue down.
- Insert small silk flowers or greenery into the oasis.
- I added a butterfly that I printed out and trimmed and of course, the guest’s name.
- Carefully, place your jar onto the lid and screw into place.
This project would be ideal if you had a lot of baby food jars.
