They’re the Old Navy high-rise linen shorts. I’m usually not a big fan of high-rise pants but these shorts don’t feel high waisted when you have them on. They’re cut generously, well stitched and you can’t beat the price. They were originally priced around $27.00 but I picked up three pairs for $6.99 each. High-five! Trust me, I’m not doing an ad for Old Navy, I just really loved these shorts.
Check out how I’ve been wearing them.
A gauzy embroidered blouse looks great with the white linen shorts. Add some turquoise jewelry and gold flip flops for a fun Boho look.
Around this neck of the woods, it’s perfectly acceptable to wear shorts just about anywhere. Dress them up with a chiffon navy blouse, silver chain belt, jewelry and silver espadrilles.
My go-to look. Shorts, a t-shirt (actually usually a tank top), fun bangle bracelets and either flip flops or espadrilles. If I’m going to be out in the sun for long, I grab my favorite wide-brimmed visor. I love visors because I can still rock my mom bun.
All of the clothes that I paired with the shorts are from my closet and long gone from any store so I’m not going to bother listing sources. But they’re ideas of how you can change up a look of a pair of white shorts. The best advice is to wear what you’re comfortable in.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
You look really cute in your shorts! I love how they look on you! I'm a bit older than you and like my shorts a little longer and to be honest, rarely wear them unless I'm on vacation in a very warm place. I get cold easily and air conditioning and shorts don't mix for me! You live in an ideal place where shorts are very trendy and popular!
ReplyDeleteI love the navy blouse and silver espadrilles. It is seriously so elegant. I feel like it's the perfect outfit to wear to Santa Anita.
