Celebrations: glowing eyes treat bag

I had so much fun making my Halloween Spooky Jars that I wanted to make another glow-in-the-dark project. This one is a little more kid friendly and not as scary as those darn spooky jars that keep watching me all day.

Inkling: parchment paper bags

I usually wrap up my shop items in clear cello wrap but I thought it would be fun to switch things up a little. For smaller items, I made some parchment paper bags.

The bags are easy to make and make a nice, neat package. Simply fold up pieces of parchment paper and glue the seams.

The bags are slightly transparent, so you can just see a glimpse of the goodies inside.

A miniature bag makes a nice business card envelope.

I made this one to hold my yarn wrapped carrots.

Make an envelope closure.

Or, use embroidery thread to stitch up the sides.

These bags can be used for shop items, party favors or gift bags. A fun alternative to cello wrap or purchased gift bags.
