I usually wrap up my shop items in clear cello wrap but I thought it would be fun to switch things up a little. For smaller items, I made some parchment paper bags.
The bags are easy to make and make a nice, neat package. Simply fold up pieces of parchment paper and glue the seams.
The bags are slightly transparent, so you can just see a glimpse of the goodies inside.
A miniature bag makes a nice business card envelope.
I made this one to hold my yarn wrapped carrots.
Make an envelope closure.
Or, use embroidery thread to stitch up the sides.
These bags can be used for shop items, party favors or gift bags. A fun alternative to cello wrap or purchased gift bags.

ReplyDeletedoes anyone knows where to get those cute paper bags?!
ReplyDeleteHi, I know this is a old post but I was searching on internet an I found your post on making parchment paper bags or envelopes and I have tried everything to glue the paper and nothing sticks, can you share with me want you use to glue your paper? please....stampinwithmarcia09@yahoo.com THANKS!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Marcia, did you get my email responding to your question? I used permanent glue stick to seal the bags but if that doesn't work for you try some scrapbooking double sided tape. There are some great ones that roll on and seal really well. Thanks!
