FRESH LOOK: Winter Whites

Even though the weather has been unseasonably warm here in Southern California, it’s still winter to us. I know – if you have snow outside your window you’re probably laughing at me right now. But I want you to know that it’s chilly here in the early morning and in the evenings.

ETCETERAS: a winter centerpiece

I failed so miserably with Christmas décor this year that I had to do some post-holiday winterizing. Between my new day job and being away almost every weekend at my son’s volleyball tournaments we just didn’t have time to haul out the Christmas décor. Add to that the fact that it’s been almost 80 degrees here in Southern California and I almost feel like it wasn’t the holiday season.

Etceteras: birch branches and boxwood

The Christmas décor is slowly coming down and getting tucked away until next year. I still want some winter décor around the house and after a season of glitter, I’m craving some natural elements.
