The Inspiration Board: Creative Party 213 & Summer Capiz Shell Cake Plate

Capiz Shell Cake Plate by homeworkFROM MY ARCHIVES :  Capiz Shell Cake Plate

Welcome to The Inspiration Board Creative Party! I’m so happy you’re here and I can’t wait to see what you’ve been creating. I’m actually on a little staycation from my day job so I’m happily spending time between my craft table, relaxing and doing a little shopping. I have big plans to tackle my stack of magazines outside on the chaise lounge. I’m going to try to unplug a little and pretend I’m at a resort. Even if it’s for only an hour each day it will be priceless.

I’ll let you know if I’m successful. In the meantime, let’s make this the best party ever.
  • Link up your own project - something you created, made, did or anything that inspires creativity.
  • Feel free to grab a “homework” button and include it somewhere on your blog.
  • Make someone smile by visiting their link and leave them with a comment.
  • By linking your project, you are granting me permission to feature your project here on homework or via social media.
  • If you have a giveaway, I have a separate giveaway link party - see the Giveaway Link Party tab at the top of the page.
I’m ready to be inspired. Thank you for joining my creative party!

The Inspiration Board: Spotlight 212 & Refreshing Happy Hour Ideas

Well, here we are in the last week of June. Has everyone adjusted to summer vacation? We’ve got moms with little ones, moms with kids returning home from college and everything in between. Summer is great but it’s definitely an adjustment from the regular structured routine. My empty nest won’t be empty in September since my college son decided to move back home. He’ll be attending a local college, so you won’t see any amazing posts about converting his room into a craft room just yet.

I big thank you to everyone who stopped by last week. Sending you all virtual hugs! In case you missed anything, here’s a little recap of what I’ve been sharing.

And now for the projects featured this week:

INKLING: Printable Plant Care Instructions

Printable Plant Care Instructions via homeworkBefore I left on my trip recently, I was really worried about my little vegetable container garden. I try to take really good care of these little guys and I was going to be leaving them at a crucial time. Tomatoes were really taking off and loads of strawberries were blooming. My son volunteered to take care of the garden for me but was confused about when to water each plant so I whipped up some plant care labels to make the job easier for him.
