Welcome to The Inspiration Board Creative Party! I’m so happy you’re here and I can’t wait to see what you’ve been creating. I’m actually on a little staycation from my day job so I’m happily spending time between my craft table, relaxing and doing a little shopping. I have big plans to tackle my stack of magazines outside on the chaise lounge. I’m going to try to unplug a little and pretend I’m at a resort. Even if it’s for only an hour each day it will be priceless.
I’ll let you know if I’m successful. In the meantime, let’s make this the best party ever.
Well, here we are in the last week of June. Has everyone adjusted to summer vacation? We’ve got moms with little ones, moms with kids returning home from college and everything in between. Summer is great but it’s definitely an adjustment from the regular structured routine. My empty nest won’t be empty in September since my college son decided to move back home. He’ll be attending a local college, so you won’t see any amazing posts about converting his room into a craft room just yet.
I big thank you to everyone who stopped by last week. Sending you all virtual hugs! In case you missed anything, here’s a little recap of what I’ve been sharing.
There’s nothing like a little beach décor or coastal crafting to really celebrate summer. Whether you live near the seaside or not, it’s fun to bring a little coastal charm into your home. Coastal Crafts (Lark, May 2015) by Cynthia Shaffer has over 20 projects that use seashells, ropes, sea glass and other nautical materials. Perfect for some summer fun.
If you’re planning a Fourth of July gathering, these Patriotic Brownie Cups are super easy, perfectly themed and absolutely yummy. I made these on a whim as a practice and okay, let’s be honest, I had to taste test them. Want to make some? Here’s how:
Welcome everyone and happy Tuesday! I’m so thrilled that you choose to share your projects here on The Inspiration Board. Are you ready to show off your latest and greatest? I can’t wait to see what you’ve been up to.
Welcome to a new week friends. Did you have a good weekend? We celebrated Father’s Day for my Dad and husband and my Mom’s birthday. There was loads of yummy food and dessert and it’s the best excuse to indulge in extra helpings. In case you missed anything recently, here’s a little review of what I’ve been sharing.
Before I left on my trip recently, I was really worried about my little vegetable container garden. I try to take really good care of these little guys and I was going to be leaving them at a crucial time. Tomatoes were really taking off and loads of strawberries were blooming. My son volunteered to take care of the garden for me but was confused about when to water each plant so I whipped up some plant care labels to make the job easier for him.
